Multiple Ajax Calendar

Multiple AJAX Calendar is a plugin that will display an AJAX enabled WordPress calendar Widget. This enhances the functionality of the standard wordpress calendar by:

  • Allows navigating through months without reloading the page.
  • Allows Multiple Instances of the calendar
  • Show Posts titles(links) when hovering over the day.
  • Show Thumbnails of the post next to the title
  • Add the calendar to posts and pages through short code [multiple-ajax-calendar title="Calendar"]

The plugin has just the necessary styling for it to work  you can change the look of it as much as you want. I try to build my plugins directed to web designers and developer so that can get a feature but style it as they need.

Hi. I’m making a website by wordpress. I installed this widget and custumizing colors like this.

I want to make linked column in yellow(1, 5, 8, 12, 15, 18, 19, 25 in image) but it doesn’t activated. How can I modify the css codes?

    • Sounds like you’d like to change the color of the cell not the column. You need to add on your theme’s style.css a new entry
      .wp-calendar td a, .wp-calendar td a:link
make sure to make it a block so it will occupy the whole parent element, if anything make the width and height 100% for the link. if you want to change the color on hover you need to add this entry
      .wp-calendar td a:hover

this will change the look of the month links at the bottom if you’d like to add a different style for them then use this css selector
      .wp-calendar td#prev a, .wp-calendar td#prev a:link,.wp-calendar td#next a, .wp-calendar td#next a:link
and the same for the hover of those links
      .wp-calendar td#prev a:hover,.wp-calendar td#next a:hover

any way to integrate featured image on hover?

    • Not right now. It does sound like a very good addition. I will add it in the next update as a toggle on/off feature. thanks and feel free to comment or send any requests through the comments or the contact form. Have an awesome day.
